Excellent site I have a G reg MK1b which is currently in bits. New sills, wheel arches, timing belt change, engine oil leak to fix as well, and MOT. With a bit of luck I will have it back on the road by the end of August. I had a problem with left hand bends back end jumping out. Right hand bends were ok.   Found sheared bolts on antiroll bar. Hope that was the problem.

hi, i like ur site! its praticle like myself. me names Ross, 26, live in ironbridge. i have 2 mk1s, 1 workhorse, 1 project. dam those old nuts are hard to crack loose lol. i've broke many spanners and had 2 cut some bits! u will b hearing from me 4 sure.. sooner or later.. nice1 fellow fanatic:-)

hey guys great site best ive seen for a while i have a 88 mk1 in subaru wrc blue stunning car failed an nct 3 months ago currently been fixed up due to some rust and of course being a mk1 there is a lot more than i tought what i need to know is have any of ye mister 2 owner ever had to refurbish the lower arm mounts where they connect to the chassis if anyone has some advice please e-mail me simon4age@yahoo.ie also if anybody has rusted arches (presemably everyone) did you know that the arches off the late 80s model starlet have the same circumfrence as the mk1 and only need to be cut off and welded in ....

Great site. I have owned an E Reg T Bar since April 07. Just taken off the road to rebuild the front end, New wings, Front cross member behind bumper. Im sure i will use your site for spares. Pete, Sussex.

Its good to see that there is still so much interest, ive only had my 1990 sunroof model for about 10months but I just love everything about these cars! Hence the reason ive spent a fortune on it already, including the Powerflow exhaust ive just bought off Tony on e-bay! Keep up the good work. Terry

How's it going lads, great wee sight, just surfen and came across it.   I have an 89 AW11, have her 8years now, fitting a custom exhaust on it last week, all hand made, sound great, also fitted K&N. car is not modified much. Gonna fit some nice ice in the front over the winter, as she is off the road for the cold months.
